Assignment 2: Part 1 & 2

PART 1
        I believe that my most successful photo is my side lighting photo. I believe that this is a good representation of side lighting. At the top of the left corner, the light is reflecting off the building, creating a glow. The sun is hitting the side of the building making that the focal point of the image. 
       The most challenging part of this assignment was about learning about colors. I found it difficult to meet the requirements for the color photos. Because it is colder outside is harder to find color. The analogous color photo was the hardest for me to take because I had to find something that had the same color but with variations of that color.  
        In the future I want to use these techniques to create better photographs. I especially enjoyed learning about the lighting and will continue using those techniques in the future. Lighting has such a big part in taking photos and learning about it will definitely help me take better photos.

Hi Carina! I really love this image that you took. I am drawn to this photo because of the softness of the colors. The color in this photo creates a pastel effect. It also shows how the exposure of light is not overpowering the but adding a softness to it. The contrast of the lighter colors like the purples contrast nicely with the darker colors. The color from the lighting creates a warm effect. This reminds me of a summer night. An amazing photo taken.
